Neon UV Face Body Paint Colours
Neon face and body paint looks AMAZING when combined with stencils. It can be applied with a brush or face paint sponge.
Commonly called 'glow in the dark' face paint, UV or Neon face paints are available in a range of super bright and vivid colours.
We currently offer Fusion Body Art, TAG Body Art, Global Colours, and Face Paints Australia (all Australian-owned, professional grade brands). We also carry PROAIIR airbrush liquid UV Neon body paints made by Show Offs USA.
Designed to glow under a UV or black light, UV face and body paint will appear to glow in the dark with super bright, vivid colours - BUT ONLY IF there is a UV light source. Without a UV light, the paints don't glow.
UV or Neon face and body paint is commonly used and has been for decades.
In Australia, neon/UV pigments are considered safe for use on the skin and don't have any specific label requirements. However, you may see some labels where it is noted that it is for "SFX and hair only". Why? Because these products are also sold in the USA and Europe, and it is a requirement in these locations to label them as such.
This is NOT because these pigments have been determined to be unsafe by FDA or EU regulations. At this point (2020), UV and Neon pigments have not been tested by either FDA or EU - so, put simply, it is a labelling requirement rather than a health warning.
With that out of the way, you can safely use UV or Neon face and body paint in Australia on skin. It looks amazing under a black light and will add colour and fun to any party or event.
