Orders are delivered via Auspost with flat rate shipping.
Our priority is to get your order picked, packed and shipped fast, with accuracy.
Orders are processed within 1-2 business days, with priority given to customers who select EXPRESS shipping.
We are located in Northern NSW.
We are an Australian owned independent retailer of professional face paint and body art supplies and we've shipped over 60,000 orders since 2013. Don't be fooled by imitators using our name. We are the official and only Face Paint Shop Australia.
When you shop with us, you can be confident that you're shopping with Australia's most experienced speciality retailer of face and body art supplies. But don't take our word for it - read our reviews.
How Long Does Delivery Take?
Delivery times vary based on the delivery option you select at the checkout, and the delivery location.
Our promise to you is that we will process and ship your order as fast as possible.
Each order is prepared in chronological order, however, Express orders always receive priority processing ahead of all other orders and jump the queue.
- Express orders will be processed within 1 business day.
- All other orders will be processed within 2 business days.
We find that nearly all orders are delivered within 2-7 days. There are exceptions. This estimate is provided as a guide, and is not a guarantee. We have no control over actual delivery times.
Allow a extra time during peak periods, and/or if you're in a remote location.,
Customers in remote areas, as well as Western Australia, Tasmania, and the Northern Territory are advised that orders sent via Parcel Post (including free shipping) may take 7-14 days for delivery.
We understand this can be frustrating and apologise for the inconvenience caused. If you don't mind waiting, then please take advantage of our free shipping offer (if you qualify) ... otherwise, we recommend Express Post for the above locations
Please allow plenty of time for your order to arrive AND select Express for the fastest possible delivery time.
How Do I Track My Order?
We understand how important it is to receive timely updates regarding the progress and shipping of your order.
We aim to keep you informed at every step.
When your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information. Please ensure your contact details are accurate. If you include your mobile number, Australia Post will send your tracking updates via SMS.
Alternatively, you can open our help desk (using the orange helpdesk button located on the bottom right side of your screen).
1. You'll be prompted to enter your order number and email address
2. If your order has been shipped, you'll be given a tracking number - click on it
3. You'll be redirected to the Auspost tracking page for the latest update on your special delivery
If you don't have your order number handy, you can log in to your store account and you'll find your order and tracking information there.
You can check your order and tracking information at any time by referring to your confirmation email, which includes a clickable link (ie. your tracking number) > this will redirect you to an order status and tracking page.
How Much Does Delivery Cost?
The fee you are charged is determined by the option you select at the checkout, ie. Express, Regular, or International.
The amount you pay for delivery is capped, regardless of the parcel size or weight. We subsidise the cost of shipping to offer you competitive rates.
Regular (Standard) Delivery
Flat rate delivery fee within Australia.
- $9.95 for orders under $99
- Free for orders over $99 - after any discounts are applied
- If your order qualifies for free delivery but you select Express, you will be charged for Express

- Insurance is offered for a small additional fee. The amount will be determined by your order sub-total, as indicated at the checkout
- If you choose to insure your parcel, we will replace any order/parcel that has been lost in transit or not delivered by the carrier, for whatever reason. To make a claim, please reach out to our help desk.
- If you choose not to insure your parcel, you accept full responsibility for the delivery after it leaves our warehouse. Tracking will be provided.
International Express Delivery
This is a flat-rate delivery fee calculated based on the delivery address (ie country or region the order will be shipped to).
- We only offer Express shipping for international orders, and we do not offer economy options.
- The shipping fee we charge does not include your local taxes, fees, or import duties
- We do not ship to all countries or regions.

Do You Offer Next Day Delivery?
Generally, no.
Please allow us time to process your order (1 business day) plus 2-3 business days for delivery.
Next-day delivery may be available in your area, if you meet the following conditions.
- If you're in northern NSW or South East QLD, including Brisbane > overnight delivery MAY be possible
- You must select Express Shipping
- You must complete your order before 1pm (NSW time)
NOTE: free shipping is regular parcel post, NOT express.
Can I Pick Up at the Door, or Shop in Store?
Can I Add Instructions for Delivery to My Post Label?
No. Other than the usual delivery details (ie. name, business name, delivery address), we are unable to add any other details to your Auspost label.

Can I Add or Swap Items, Make Changes to My Order, Combine Two Orders, or Cancel a Current Order?
Orders that are confirmed and awaiting fulfilment, or that have commenced packing, cannot be changed or ammended without incurring an admin and processing fee.

Can I change my address after my order has been placed?
If you have entered the delivery address incorrectly or need to update it for any reason, you should be able to easily change the delivery address within the MyPost app
When we have shipped your order, we'll email you with a tracking number and a link so you can monitor your delivery with the Auspost parcel tracker and mypost app.
You'll need to contact Auspost directly using your tracking number as a reference. We undestand that delivery address can be updated at any time while on route simply by logging into your mypost account and confirming the changes there. Easy peasy!
If your order can't be delivered, it will be returned to us.
You will have the option to receive a refund for your order, or we can resend it to a different address.
If you would like us to resend your order, an additional shipping fee of $11.95 will apply.
If you opt for a refund, a processing fee of $10 will apply, to be deducted from the amount refunded. This covers any costs we may have incurred, including but not limited to payment processor fees, administration, restocking, shipping paid, etc
What's the point of paying for Express if you can't offer overnight delivery?
Customers who select Express shipping can be assured that:
- The order will be processed and dispatched within 1 business day, ahead of all regular/standard orders in the queue AND
- The order will be shipped with an Express Post Label, giving it the best possible chance for delivery within 2-3 business days.
Customers who do NOT select Express shipping can expect delivery to take 5-14 days, depending on the delivery address.
Non-express orders will be processed only after Express Orders have been completed (but within 2 business days).
Based on our experience of shipping over 60,000 orders since 2013, we are confident that your Express Parcel will be delivered within our estimate of 2-3 busness days.
There are always exceptions... this is not a guarantee, only an estimate based on Auspost estimates and our own experience... but if you need it fast - or if your location is defined as 'remote' by Auspost, Express is the way to go.
Having said that, we've been made aware that when Auspost sends tracking advice to our customers, they sometimes estimate up to 5 days for Express delivery.
We understand that this may create anxiety. Don't panic.
We think that Auspost is attempting to to minimise their customer support tickets and on almost every occasion, the order is delivered within 2-3 business days.
If your order doesn't arrive in this timeframe, you may return to sender for a full refund. We'll waive any handling and processing fees
If you choose to keep your order (and it has arrived late) we may, at our discretion, consider offering $11.95 store credit.
International Shipping?
We ship (by air) to many countries and regions of the world, but not everywhere.
At this time, we ship to New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Pacific Islands, Philippines, and Indonesia.
We do not ship directly to UK, USA, South America, Europe, India, Middle East, or China.
This may change at anytime, and if we accept your order and cannot ship to your location, for whatever reason, we will refund you in full.

- Some items cannot be shipped by air because they are flammable. If you order an item that is flammable - as indicated in the product description - we will refund you for that item before shipping.
- Shipping times can vary significantly, depending on your region of the world.
- Shipping rates are determined by region and calculated at the check-out, after you enter the delivery address. If we determine that the actual cost of sending your order significantly exceeds the amount your are charged at the checkout for shipping (this may happen if you order large items eg large palette case, brush tub etc), our team will contact you with the details and you may be asked to pay an additional shipping fee to cover this cost. You are not obligated to proceed, and if you decline, we will refund your order in full.
- We offer Express Parcel International with Insurance (by Auspost) for all international deliveries. We do not offer economy shipping for international orders.
- Tracking is provided by Australia Post.
- Goods sent to international addresses will not include the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- Imports - your order will be considered an import and may be inspected by your local importing authority (customs), which can cause delays.
- There may also be additional import duties and/or taxes payable in your country or region. Additional costs are the buyer's responsibility.
- It is the responsibility of the buyer (ie YOU) to be aware of the import conditions of your delivery - including but not limited to prohibitions, restrictions, limitations, etc and to find out what documents may be required.
- Face Paint Shop Australia does NOT collect taxes on behalf of your country/region and we can not be held liable for any import taxes or duties you may be required to pay in addition to the agreed purchase price.
- If your order is returned to us, for any reason (unopened, undamaged, and in it's original packaging) - we may consider a refund, less a handling fee of $15 AND any shipping and delivery fees we have incurred.
- Damaged items or items that are not re-saleable will not be refunded.
What if I only have stencils? Can I get them sent in a standard envelope?
Our flat rate delivery fees apply to stencils-only orders too.
Your stencils will be shipped in a secure box, inside a waterproof satchel, with tracking. We will provide the same level of service in preparing stencils for shipping as we do for any other item in our store.
In addition, we find that sending items in a regular, untracked envelope can be unreliable, risks damage, and is generally quite slow to deliver. f the envelope goes missing in transit, then we are not able to follow it up, which leads to a disappointing experience all round.
